ZONING AND BUILDING OFFICIAL
The City of Rice Lake is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to fill our Zoning and Building Official position. This position is full-time with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, vacation, sick time, paid holidays, and retirement benefits. This position performs professional and technical work to provide information to the public, outside agency representatives, and City staff in regard to laws, codes, ordinances, and requirements that apply to the construction and use of structures and land use. We are looking for a natural, positive leader that is tech savvy, forward-thinking, and team orientated with a comprehensive knowledge of the State Building Code and zoning regulations.
Applications are being accepted through September 18, 2026. Hourly wage range: $40.00 - $48.00 dependent on experience.
