ROAD WORKER
The City of Rice Lake is looking for a person to fill our Road Worker position. This position is full-time with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, vacation, sick time, paid holidays, and retirement benefits. This position performs skilled work of a technical nature providing field services in the operation of the City’s Road Department. This position participates in the operation, maintenance, and construction activities of: road and bridge, stormwater, parks, building/facilities, and other similar functions.

SUMMER MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Rice Lake is looking for a person to fill our Summer Maintenance Worker seasonal position. This position is full-time starting in May/June and continuing throughout the summer. This position performs basic semi-skilled manual work functions associated with construction, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds-keeping of city buildings, properties, city parks, and roads. Operates vehicles and uses various hand tools and power tools. Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age and have the ability to operate basic lawn care and snow removal machinery and equipment.
Applications are being accepted at City Hall through April 30, 2026, or until the position is filled. Hourly wage range: $15-$20 dependent on experience.
