New Natural Gas Service
- Are you getting new gas service from Comfort Systems? If yes, a plumbing permit is needed. The fee is $74.00 plus $1.00 state surcharge for a total of $75.00.
- Are you installing a new natural gas furnace, hot water heater, fireplace, etc.? If yes, a mechanical permit is needed. The fee is $74.00 plus $1.00 state surcharge for a total of $75.00.
- Apply online through the Building Permits page. Payment can be made online or at City Hall.
- Once the permit is paid for and issued, contact Candi with Comfort Systems at 218-730-4028 to schedule inspection and meter installation.
